Denver Nuggets Jr. Coach Program - Week 8: July 27-31 (Ages 14-17)
This week emphasizes conflict resolution and ethical decision-making in coaching and officiating. Campers participate in role-playing exercises to practice handling challenging situations on and off the court. They also collaborate on designing practice plans that promote sportsmanship and player development, guided by Positive Coaching Alliance principles.
5280 Offensive Playmaker Camp
The Denver Nuggets Camps are co-ed limited capacity three-day camps for youth ages 6-14 years old. Each camper will receive a Denver Nuggets Basketball Academy jersey, basketball, as well as one ticket to a Denver Nuggets home game.
Denver Nuggets Jr. Coach Program - Week 9: Aug 3-7 (Ages 14-17)
Campers will focus on advanced officiating techniques and leadership roles within team settings. The week includes on-court officiating practice, peer feedback sessions, and leadership workshops aimed at building confidence and authority. Participants also learn how to foster inclusive team environments and manage diverse player personalities effectively.
Jr. Nuggets Summer Finale
The Denver Nuggets Camps are co-ed limited capacity three-day camps for youth ages 6-14 years old. Each camper will receive a Denver Nuggets Basketball Academy jersey, basketball, as well as one ticket to a Denver Nuggets home game.
Denver Nuggets Jr. Coach Program - Week 10: Aug 10-14 (Ages 14-17)
In the final week, campers synthesize all learned skills through a capstone project involving planning and leading a mini basketball clinic. They demonstrate coaching, officiating, and leadership abilities in a supportive environment with feedback from DNBA staff and Positive Coaching Alliance mentors. The week concludes with a celebration of growth and certificates of completion.
