Horse Camp - Week 10
Our camps are ideal for first time participants or previous campers who would like to do it again. Every camper is assigned their "own" horse for the week. During this week, they learn what it is like to care for the animal. Feeding, watering, brushing, saddling, bridling, and (of course) RIDING.
Horse Camp - Week 7: July 20-24 (Ages 11-14)
Campers continue their horsemanship journey by mastering saddling and bridling techniques, ensuring safety and comfort for both rider and horse. Riding sessions include arena drills to improve balance and control, as well as scenic trail rides exploring the beautiful Chatfield State Park. This week also features a team challenge where campers collaborate to set up obstacle courses, enhancing their problem-solving and horse handling skills.
Horse Camp - Week 7: July 20-24 (Ages 15-18)
Campers will continue to build their horsemanship skills by caring for their assigned horse each day and participating in advanced riding exercises in the arena and on trails. This week emphasizes riding techniques such as balance, control, and trail safety. Campers will also engage in hands-on lessons about equine anatomy and health care, enhancing their understanding of horse wellness. The week ends with a fun obstacle course ride to test their skills and teamwork with their horse.
