Evening activities include group reflections and musical gatherings inspired by nature’s rhythms.
Ramah in the Rockies - Week 9: Aug 3-7 (Ages 11-14)
This week centers on mountain biking and trail stewardship. Campers develop biking skills on varied terrain and learn about maintaining trails and minimizing environmental impact. They engage in group projects to improve local trails and participate in discussions about Jewish values related to community responsibility and environmental ethics.
Ramah in the Rockies - Week 9: Aug 3-7 (Ages 15-17)
Campers will engage in rock climbing and rappelling, developing physical skills and trust-building exercises. The week integrates Jewish teachings on courage and perseverance with challenging outdoor activities. Participants will also take part in a conservation service project, helping to preserve the local wilderness areas they explore.
Ramah in the Rockies - Week 10: Aug 10-14 (Ages 11-14)
In the final week, campers participate in a capstone outdoor leadership experience, combining skills learned throughout the summer. They plan and execute a multi-day backpacking trip, practicing teamwork, navigation, and wilderness ethics. Evening reflections focus on Jewish teachings about leadership, gratitude, and connection to the land.
Ramah in the Rockies - Week 10: Aug 10-14 (Ages 15-17)
In the final week, campers participate in a capstone expedition combining backpacking, wilderness skills, and leadership development. They will reflect on their personal growth and Jewish values through group discussions and creative expression. The week culminates in a celebratory Shabbat in nature, honoring the community and experiences shared.
