Dive into the exciting world of global economics and cultures during Week 1 of International Towne®. Campers will explore foreign currency, learning how different countries use money and how exchange rates work. Through interactive activities, they will engage in global trading simulations and cultural presentations. On Friday, campers will put their knowledge to the test by running the town as active citizens, practicing negotiation and leadership skills in a dynamic, immersive environment.
Girls Can - June 15-18
Campers learn about women leaders around the world, connect with local businesswomen, and participate in activities to help discover how to be financially fit. The week wraps up with campers testing their skills by running Young AmeriTowne!

Young Americans Center - International Towne® - Week 2 (Ages 11-13)
In Week 2, campers will deepen their understanding of global trading systems and cultural diversity. They will participate in hands-on activities that simulate international trade negotiations and explore the economic impact of different cultures. Campers will research and present on a country’s currency and customs, culminating in a Friday role-play where they run International Towne®, applying their new skills to real-world scenarios.

The week culminates with the Friday International Towne® event, where campers act as citizens managing businesses and government roles.

During Week 4, campers will explore global trading networks and the importance of cultural understanding in business. They will participate in workshops on negotiation, currency exchange, and trade agreements. Campers will research different countries’ economic systems and present their findings. The week ends with the International Towne® simulation, where campers take on leadership roles to manage the town’s economy and cultural events.
