Film Makers Camp
This camp is perfect for creative storytellers ready to step behind the lens. Campers will learn the fundamentals of filmmaking, scriptwriting, directing, and editing, while working together to produce their own short films. Using iPads and digital tools, they’ll explore camera techniques, storyboarding, and special effects to bring their visions to life. The week features an exciting field trip to The Museum of Fine Arts, where campers will see independent films and gain inspiration from industry professionals. By the end of camp, participants will walk away with hands-on filmmaking experience, teamwork skills, and their very own cinematic creation to share with family and friends! Camp Enhancements: Field Trip: Museum of Fine Arts to view independent films and gain inspiration for their own productions. Onsite Field Trip: A local theatre troupe will perform short skits, improv, and monologues to instruct campers on the art of story telling. Fun Friday Activity: Showcase Day! Campers will display their films for fellow campers during pick up time from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
