At Portland Taiko's Summer Intensive, your child will embark on a rhythmic journey into the exciting world of Japanese drumming. Campers will learn the fundamentals of taiko, including proper form, timing, and ensemble playing, in a supportive and engaging environment. More experienced drummers can hone their skills in advanced classes focusing on soloing and improvisation. This unique camp offers a chance to explore a rich cultural art form, build confidence, and make new friends through the power of the drum.
