DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 8: July 27-31 (Ages 10-13)
This week focuses on aerial hammock and fabric techniques, where campers learn to climb, wrap, and create dynamic poses. Activities include strength and flexibility training, as well as creative workshops to design personalized aerial sequences. Campers will also explore the artistic side of aerial performance through costume and music selection.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 8: July 27-31 (Ages 14-17)
This week focuses on aerial hammock and fabric techniques, where campers learn to swing, invert, and create flowing movements. Emphasis is placed on flexibility, endurance, and artistic expression as participants craft their own short aerial performances. The camp encourages confidence-building through supportive group challenges and individual skill development.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 8: July 27-31 (Ages 6-9)
This week focuses on aerial dance and creative choreography, where campers blend aerial skills with expressive movement to tell stories in the air. They will experiment with different apparatuses including silks, hoops, and ropes, enhancing their strength and flexibility. Daily challenges and group projects encourage teamwork and artistic growth.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 9: Aug 3-7 (Ages 10-13)
Campers will enhance their aerial skills by combining multiple apparatuses, including silks, hoop, and hammock, to create fluid routines. The week emphasizes strength endurance, aerial transitions, and performance techniques. Participants will also engage in creative storytelling through movement and prepare for a group showcase at the end of the week.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 9: Aug 3-7 (Ages 14-17)
Campers will challenge themselves with aerial rope and static trapeze skills, focusing on strength training and fluid movement transitions. This week’s theme highlights storytelling through aerial arts, encouraging participants to develop a narrative within their routines. Group collaboration and individual coaching help refine technique and boost performance confidence.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 9: Aug 3-7 (Ages 6-9)
Campers will focus on aerial strength and conditioning this week, building endurance through fun obstacle courses and skill drills on silks and trapeze. They will also learn basic circus arts like juggling and clowning to enhance coordination and creativity. The week culminates in a mini showcase where campers demonstrate their progress and newfound confidence.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 10: Aug 10-14 (Ages 10-13)
In the final week, campers will refine their aerial techniques and focus on creative expression through choreography and performance. Activities include advanced aerial tricks, partner work, and improvisation exercises. The week concludes with a celebratory performance where campers demonstrate their growth and newfound confidence in the air.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 10: Aug 10-14 (Ages 14-17)
In the final week, campers will combine all learned aerial disciplines to create a unique showcase performance. Focus will be on polishing technique, building endurance, and expressing creativity through choreography and costume design. This culminating experience celebrates each camper’s growth and confidence in the air, culminating in a supportive group performance.
DPS School Day Off Camp! - Week 10: Aug 10-14 (Ages 6-9)
In the final week, campers will combine all their aerial skills into a creative circus production, designing costumes, props, and choreography. They will refine their aerial techniques on silks, hoops, and trapeze while practicing teamwork and performance skills. This celebratory week encourages self-expression and culminates in a joyful showcase for family and friends.
