Creature Costumes - Week 8 (Ages 8-10)
In Week 8, campers focus on performance and movement, learning how their creature costumes can come alive through dance and role-play. The week culminates in a rehearsal for the final camp showcase, emphasizing confidence, creativity, and presentation skills.
DIY is Punk! - Week 8 (Ages 14-17)
This week campers focus on upcycling old clothing into new punk-inspired pieces. Using sewing, cutting, and embellishing techniques, participants transform thrifted finds into unique fashion statements. The session highlights sustainability and creativity, encouraging campers to rethink fashion waste.
Plush Pals - Week 8 (Ages 8-10)
This week is all about storytelling through plush pals. Campers will create characters with backstories and personalities, then design plush toys that reflect these stories. Activities include writing short tales, designing costumes or accessories for the plush pals, and sharing their creations in a mini show-and-tell. The focus is on combining creative writing with hands-on crafting to bring characters to life.
Creature Costumes - Week 9 (Ages 8-10)
Week 9 is dedicated to finalizing all costume projects and preparing for the grand finale showcase. Campers add last-minute details, practice their presentations, and collaborate on staging and display.
